Beloved–

. . . For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved . . . because of God’s grace—his undeserved kindness in choosing them. And since it is through God’s kindness, then it is not by their good works.  For in that case, God’s grace would not be what it really is—free and undeserved . . . For God’s gifts and his call can never be withdrawn. (from Romans)

He chose me—I didn’t “find him!”  I pray for you to accept the truth that the triune God’s free and undeserved grace and kindness is for you; to know it will never be taken away.

IWOF!

Beloved–

We can make our own plans, but the Lord gives the right answer . . . We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps . . . We may throw the dice, but the Lord determines how they fall . . . Those who listen to instruction will prosper;  those who trust the Lord will be joyful. (from Proverbs)

I pray for you and me to fine tune our hearts and minds to the Lord’s instruction, so that we will automatically choose the path of joy.  Always praising the God who is . . . Father, Son and Holy Spirit!

Don’t know what you don’t know?

Beloved–

Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge . . . Then you will understand what it means to fear the Lord, and you will gain knowledge of God . . . Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do! . . . Get wisdom; develop good judgment . . . Fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom . .  . Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment . . . Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding . . . (from Proverbs)

It took me a long time to understand that I didn’t KNOW what I didn’t KNOW about the Holy One.  I pray for you to begin your search for what it is you don’t KNOW; always praising the God who is . . . Father, Son and Holy Spirit!

IWOT!

Beloved–

O Lord, don’t rebuke me in your anger  or discipline me in your rage!  My guilt overwhelms me— it is a burden too heavy to bear  . . . I am exhausted and completely crushed.  My groans come from an anguished heart . . . But I confess my sins;  I am deeply sorry for what I have done . . .  I confessed all my sins to you  and stopped trying to hide my guilt . . .

Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight!  Yes, what joy for those whose record the Lord has cleared of guilt . . . Therefore, let all the godly pray to you while there is still time, that they may not drown in the floodwaters of judgment.  (from Psalms)

I pray for you to seek the joy of confession, while there is still time, to the God who is . . . Father, Son and Holy Spirit!

Hold tight . . . FOCUS!

Beloved–

Who can say, “I have cleansed my heart; I am pure and free from sin” . . .  People may be right in their own eyes, but the Lord examines their heart . . . the Lord detests double standards of every kind . . . the Lord’s light penetrates the human spirit, exposing every hidden motive!  (from Proverbs)

There I was, with both arms tightly wrapped around the foot of calvary’s tree, when I saw something shiny and I reached out.  At that same moment the shiny turned to a dark cloud, a lighted doorway opened — but I chose to ignore the offer.

I pray for you to ignore the world’s shiny temptations and hold on tight to God’s designed purpose for your life.  He is the God who is … Father, Son and Holy Spirit!

Beloved–

Fools make fun of guilt, but the godly acknowledge it and seek reconciliation.

I will praise the Lord at all times.  I will constantly speak his praises. I will boast only in the Lord; let all who are helpless take heart.  Come, let us tell of the Lord’s greatness; let us exalt his name together. I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me.  He freed me from all my fears. (from the Bible)

I pray for you to not be afraid to look in the very deepest part of your heart to find the source of your fear, so you can wholeheartedly praise the God who is . . . Father, Son and Holy Spirit!

Victory!

Beloved–

“I, Wisdom, live together with good judgment.  I know where to discover knowledge and discernment.  All who fear the Lord will hate evil. Therefore, I hate pride and arrogance, corruption and perverse speech . . .

“And so, my children, listen to me, for all who follow my ways are joyful . . .   joyful are those who listen to me, watching for me daily at my gates, waiting for me outside my home!  (from Proverbs)

I pray for you to have as your first thought — to praise the God who is . . . Father, Son and Holy Spirit, when you are attacked by evil — joyful that your father, God is actively working out his perfect plan for your life.  God loves you and has prepared you for this battle!

Beloved—

My child, don’t reject the Lord’s discipline, and don’t be upset when he corrects you.  For the Lord corrects those he loves, just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights . . .

Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you.  Mark out a straight path for your feet; stay on the safe path. Don’t get sidetracked;     keep your feet from following evil . . .

Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.  (from God’s Word)

I pray for you to be joyful when you are unsure of your next step — wrap your arms around the foot of the cross — fix your eyes and heart on the Lord and don’t let go of the God who is … Father, Son and Holy Spirit!

Luv Ya!

Happy Easter!

Beloved—

. . . Dear brothers and sisters, the longing of my heart and my prayer to God is for the people of Israel to be saved. I know what enthusiasm they have for God, but it is misdirected zeal. For they don’t understand God’s way of making people right with himself. Refusing to accept God’s way, they cling to their own way of getting right with God by trying to keep the law.  For Christ has already accomplished the purpose for which the law was given.  As a result, all who believe in him are made right with God.  (from Romans)

. . .  If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.   (from Romans)

I pray for you that you not only read and understand the words of scripture but that you believe them in your heart and pass them on!

HE LIVES !!!

Beloved–

. . .  God chooses people according to his own purposes; he calls people, but not according to their good or bad works . . . Are we saying, then, that God was unfair? Of course not!  For God said to Moses, “I will show mercy to anyone I choose, and I will show compassion to anyone I choose.”   So it is God who decides to show mercy. We can neither choose it nor work for it.   (from Romans)

If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. (from Romans)

I pray for you to be filled with joy because you KNOW that God is in control — the very God who is . . . Father, Son and Holy Spirit!
