Some people make cutting remarks, but the words of the wise bring healing. Don’t talk too much, for it fosters sin. Be sensible and turn of the flow.
The mouths of fools are their ruin; their lips get them into trouble. Even fools are thought to be wise when they keep silent; when they keep their mouths shut, they seem intelligent. (from Proverbs)
As young Christian, I was anxious to learn more about how to live my new life. I started with devotionals and then started a systematic reading of the Bible daily. The Book of Proverbs helped me to recognize me as God sees me.
I pray for you daily to see how much the God who is … Father, Son and Holy Spirit … sees you with his grace, mercy and loving eyes.
Luv Ya!

Hatred stirs up quarrels, but love covers all offences. Pride leads to disgrace; but with humility comes wisdom. (from Proverbs)
I woke up this morning with the realization that I was not as good a heart-keeper as I had praised myself for being. Down deep in my heart I was still angry about the betrayal by my best friend. I was not really as forgiving as I had thought of myself. Then I cried and praised God for answer to my prayer, that I wanted nothing in my heart to come before my love for him.
I pray for you everyday, that you choose the God who is…Father, Son and Holy Spirit above all.
Luv ya!

In the beginning the Word already existed.
The Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Some people make cutting remarks, but the words of the wise bring healing. (from Proverbs)
I was told as a child that truth was paramount but frankness should be tempered; but my bent was to shoot first and ask questions later. God always makes a way to escape sin. After several years of daily reading the Bible, Proverbs in particular, I was in a dispute, about child discipline, with my beloved mother-in-law. My opinion rushed to my lips just as his word flashed through my brain; it took just a second but it was enough for me to stop the flow.
I pray for you daily to desire to spend time with the Lord, to absorb his character and the gracious love he has for you. To worship the God who is … Father, Son and Holy Spirit!
Luv Ya!

Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline. (from Proverbs)
As a new Christian I did many different Bible studies despite the fact that I had never read the whole book. My first attempt took me 18 months. The most important thing I have learned is how much more I have to learn.
I pray for you everyday that you want to know how much you don’t know about the God who is … Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Luv Ya!

My child, don’t lose sight of common sense and discernment. Hang on to them. (from Proverbs)
At an early age I learned that it was better to have a good plan prepared rather than to let circumstances control my life; still I frequently painted myself into a corner. Then I met my savior and learned who was really in control!
I pray for you everyday to worship the God who is … Father, Son and Holy Spirit!

O Lord, I will honor and praise your name, for you are my God. You do such wonderful things! You planned them long ago, and now you have accomplished them. (from Isaiah)
As a maturing Christian I definitely learned that my God was totally in control; and despite my broken heart, I lived to see the wisdom of his “NO.” Once again with a broken heart, I can praise my God, mourning the loss of my beloved friend, Margarita.
I pray for you daily to praise the God who is … Father, Son and Holy Spirit!
Luv Ya!

“And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (from Matthew)
First I learned — When I first understood that the gospel (John 3:16) included me I was ecstatic! Never again would I have to solve my problems alone.
Soon I learned — Not to get the idea I was getting smarter; and not being impressed with my own wisdom (Proverbs 3:7) but that to trust the Lord no matter what the circumstances would give me peace of mind.
Now I know — In my joy or in my sorrow the Lord is in control and I can Praise him always.
I pray for you everyday that you can know the peace of mind that passes all understanding.
Luv Ya!

Have mercy on me, O God, because of your unfailing love. Because of your great compassion, blot out the stain of my sins. Wash me clean from my guilt. Purify me from my sin. (from Psalms)
When I first understood the reality of this verse and its meaning for me, I was stunned. The only way that Jesus, my God, could willingly, wash away my filthy sin was to use his own righteousness— a part of who He IS— to purify me for himself.
I pray for you daily, that you will recognize the reality of God’s great love for you and accept it with all its connotations.
Luv Ya!
