Beloved–

But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.  (from Isaiah)

As a young Christian and a mother of 4 under 5, there just didn’t seem to be enough hours in a day.  One night I prayed, “Lord, how can I fly if I’m exhausted?” Several times that night I would wake and go back to sleep.  In the morning I realized I had been trusting in my own strength and not in the God who is … Father, Son and Holy Spirit! The chaos remained but I did not grow weary.  I’m praying for you to tune your ear to the voice of the Holy Spirit.

Luv Ya!

Hurry

Beloved–

The Lord is slow to get angry, but his power is great, and he never lets the guilty go unpunished….  (from Nahum)

That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are  being renewed every day.  (from Corinthians)

Even when I want to sit down and stop, I know that I need to get up and go, because the opportunity to do the Father’s work will soon end.  I’m praying for you to have the same sense of urgency. He is coming again! PTL!

Promises

Beloved–

You [God the Father] will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you [Him], all whose thoughts are fixed on you [Him]!  (from Isaiah)

When all the frustration and chaos of the day start to overwhelm me, his promises raise me up because, I trust the situation to the God who is … Father, Son Holy Spirit!  I’m praying for you to see the light and feel his presence.

“What are mere mortals that you should think about them …  (That is what I ask my heavenly father every night — I know I’m not worth it.)

Because God’s children are human beings—made of flesh and blood—the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the devil, who had the power of death.   (from Hebrews)

So, I have the power to resist the devil; because I chose to follow the Son, my savior.  Praise the God who is … Father, Son and Holy Spirit! I’m praying for you.

Action!

Beloved–

What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions?  (from James)

Faith is a gift of God, the Father!  Faith brings belief. Belief brings trust.  Trust brings actions. Actions brings joy to the heart, both to yours and His!  Praise be to the God who is … Father, Son and Holy Spirit! I’m praying for you.

Faith, Belief, Trust

Beloved–

For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation.  (from Corinthians)

I know that my heavenly Father’s plan is always the best for me.  Just because it doesn’t look like it to me, doesn’t mean it is not true.  Faith brings belief, belief brings trust and trust brings peace of mind. Praise the God who is … Father, Son and Holy Spirit!

Beloved–

“I know all the things you do. I have seen your hard work and your patient endurance …. “But I have this complaint against you. You don’t love me or each other as you did at first …  Turn back to me … (from Revelation)

Now that I have been justified by the blood, shed on the cross of Calvary; I must be careful not to take my bridegroom for granted.  Knowing that I’m totally loved and cared for should make me strive to reflect that knowledge. I pray for you and me to be constantly aware of the presence of the God who is … Father, Son and Holy Spirit!

I will praise the Lord at all times.  I will constantly speak his praises.

I will boast only in the Lord; let all who are helpless take heart.

Come, let us tell of the Lord’s greatness; let us exalt his name together.

I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me.  He freed me from all my fears.

Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy!

                            “Hallelujah, What A savior!”

It’s Good Friday?

By this time it was about noon, and darkness fell across the whole land until three o’clock. The light from the sun was gone. And suddenly, the curtain in the sanctuary of the Temple was torn down the middle.  Then Jesus shouted, “Father, I entrust my spirit into your hands!” And with those words he breathed his last. (from Luke)

“I’ll never know how much it cost to see my sins upon that cross!”
