Here it is the end of the year and all my “New Year’s” resolutions for 2022 are mostly undone.  I took time to pray for my needs but didn’t take time to listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit.  I kept thinking my way is the best solution rather than asking to be shown the Lord’s way.  I pray for you to desire to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit in your daily life.  Please pray for me to constantly be aware of the Lord’s presence and to be continually praising the God who is . . . Father, Son and Holy Spirit!

I knew that all was lost. Out of desperation I cried out “the Lord is my Shepherd.” I didn’t realize then what a great sacrifice had been made to pay my sin debt that I couldn’t pay.  I learned by the daily reading of the Word that my sins were the “nails” that nailed my Savior to the tree of Calvary.  I pray for you to desire to study the Word.  Praise the Lord God Almighty!

When I cried out in desperation, “the Lord is my shepherd” I knew that I was saved!  How, why  or even what for, I didn’t understand. I didn’t remember the weekly Bible classes (sponsored by the public school system) nor the many Vacation Bible School programs that I attended were preparing me for my time of need.  As a child or an adult every minute reading and studying God’s Word is vital to your salvation! I pray for you to desire to love the Word.

The storm rages on.  Because the Bible means what it says and says what it means; then all I have to do is believe, hold on to the truth and acknowledge who loves me and who is in complete charge!  I pray for you to desire to believe no matter how severe the storm is in your life.

The Lord God Almighty — the very master of the universe — chose to adopt me into his perfect family.  He purchased my freedom with the blood of his precious son, Christ Jesus, my Lord and savior. Because I believe the Holy Spirit came to live in my heart giving me knowledge and understanding about my inheritance and that he keeps his promises.  I pray for you to desire to get to know the God who is . . . Father, Son and Holy Spirit!

I know that my salvation is secure in Christ Jesus.  I know that my sin debt has been paid with the precious blood of the lamb, my redeemer. I know that I’m loved, protected and guided by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit — the very Master of the Universe!  I know that the purchase of my soul comes with a GUARANTEE in WRITING!  I pray for you to desire to take advantage of the joy that the guarantee offers.

When I cried out “the Lord is my Shepherd” I knew that my salvation was secure in Christ Jesus.  What I didn’t realize, at that moment, was that I received more than my debt being paid.  I learned that I had always been loved, that I am protected and guided by the Maker of Heaven and Earth — the very Master of the Universe!  I pray for you to recognize who YOU are in Christ Jesus.

When I cried out “the Lord is my Shepherd” I knew that my salvation was secure in Christ Jesus.  What I didn’t realize was that I received more than my debt being paid.  I have learned that the all powerful Almighty God, master of the universe, maker of heaven and earth, willingly sacrificed his only beloved Son on the cross of Calvary, covering me with his precious blood that I might be acceptable in the presence of Almighty God.  I pray for you to recognize the power in the blood of Christ Jesus.
