Good Friday is about Jesus’ blood that paid my price. Easter Morn celebrates the resurrection of Jesus to life and the redemption for my soul.  Now I have the spirit of truth—a helper to be with me forever—speaking to my heart. I pray for you to desire to know and hear the truth speaking to your heart.  Always praising the Lord God Almighty who is all powerful!

When I understood that the Lord God Almighty was triune—Father, Son, my savior, and Holy Spirit, my constant companion—that he had made a plan for my life from the beginning of time. If I got with the program I could have peace of heart and mind no matter the chaos that might surround me.  I pray for you to seek to abide in his shadow of his protection by listening very carefully for his voice.  Praise be to our triune God!

At the end of my own devices I called out to God to save me; not with a humble heart, helpless surely, but not with humility.  Then I learned that being really good or really bad there was just no way I could free myself; only Jesus’ blood shed on Calvary’s cross could pay my debt of sin and shame.  I pray for you to know that our strength is in humility and the blood, not in our pride. I don’t look like my mother or father; which, as a child, concerned me for a long time. Then I saw a picture of my great grandfather and I recognized myself immediately.  Understanding the science of DNA and the WORD of God I know why I have a perishable body but an immortal soul. The reason for my joy on Easter Morn is because of the resurrection of my savior and his victory over sin and death.  The reason for my shame on Good Friday is that my sin nailed my Lord to the cross of Calvary. The reason for my awe and wonder on Christmas day is that Almighty God gave up his deity and power, even sacrificing human dignity, and stepped into history to save mankind.  The reason for it all from the beginning of time is that the triune God who spoke the universe into being and made mankind in his image, did it all because of his abundant mercy and grace of love.

Challenged to understand that the theme of the Bible is the plan laid out that the Lord Almighty designed from the beginning of time for all mankind. That the God who spoke the earth into being and created mankind in his image, is a triune God. The Lord God Almighty and yet a loving Father, Jesus the beloved Son and yet my Savior, the Holy Spirit and yet the comforter; one God in three distinct persons. I pray for you to trust the Biblical message and let it prove to you that it is true.

During the beginning years of my Christian life I had developed the habit of daily Bible reading but continued to wait until I was halfway through a calamity before seeking the shelter of the Most High. Then, I was challenged to not only to read the words but to realize how understanding the Biblical message would affect my goal to purposefully choose a Christlike life. I pray for you to desire to know the God who is … Father, Son and Holy Spirit!

I remember traveling to visit family and seeing the words “JESUS SAVES” painted on a rock on the mountain side. From the time I was age 5 until I was 26-years-old I had been exposed to the gospel message; so that when I prayed, “the Lord is my shepherd” it was a confession of faith. The Lord Almighty had been calling me all those years until I understood–that I WAS a sinner–I had committed the ultimate sin of unbelief.  I pray for you to hear when you are being called so that you can praise the God who is … Father, Son and Holy Spirit!
