IWOT, once again

Beloved–

By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.  (from the Bible)

God the Father is … Love. I have biblical proof. I have personal proof.  He gave me an immediate answer to my cry for help even though I was a sinner.

God the Son … Saves.  I have biblical proof.  I have personal proof.  In ways I would never have chosen, for the next 18 months after being snatched from the “pit of hell” he showed me why I needed his salvation and what it cost him personally.

God the Holy Spirit … Seals.   I have biblical proof. I have personal proof.  One morning my son asked me to watch my 2-year-old grandson. I gave the boy a snack and put him down for a nap. Later my son told me the boy doesn’t take morning naps any more. I responded, “when he comes to grandma’s house he does.”  My son trusted my judgement.  I learned that the Holy Spirit knows what is best for my life even when I don’t.

I am praying for you to trust the God who is … Father, Son and Holy Spirit!

Luv Ya!

FACTS

God the Father … Loves

So God created human beings in his own image . . . Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good.

God the Son  …  Saves

“For this is how God loved the world: He gave  his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.  God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.

God the Holy Spirit  …  Seals

But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you . . . For it is not you who will be speaking—it will be the Spirit of your Father speaking through you . . . Take control of what I say, O Lord, and guard my lips.

What more can I say?  More to come?

Praise the Lord God Almighty, who is and is to come!

IWOT!

Beloved–

“So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.  (from Matthew)

It has definitely been an IWOT week!  Despite no chaos to disrupt my peace of mind, I haven’t been able to focus on what needs to be done.  Usually, I retreat to prayer and the shadow of the Almighty when calamity strikes.  Now I realize this is what Grace is all about.  All I need to do is say thank you Jesus in peace as well as chaos!  Praise the God who is . . . Father, Son and HolySpirit!

Start brain B-4 engaging mouth

Beloved–

“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life  . . .  My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life. (from John)

“Your account has been hacked,” said the bank manager; “we will open a new account for you. All your transactions will AUTOMATICALLY be transferred to the new account for 30 days, just contact those you pay online.”  I stopped listening when I heard the word automatically and created chaos for myself.  Jesus SAVES to bring mankind an abundant life; but many people stop listening after they hear Jesus saves, never getting to the life abundant part. I pray for you to desire to listen closely to God’s word so that you will have peace of mind and heart.  Always praising our triune God!

the yellow brick road

Beloved–

Blessed are those who fear to do wrong,  but the stubborn are headed for serious trouble (from Proverbs)

Reaching the “pit of despair” I cried out to the Lord my Shepherd; he answered before I had dried my tears.  Because of my stiff neck of pride and coward’s heart the Lord  allowed me to dig several more “Pits” before I was able to see that I was standing outside of the sheepfold. Sheep always need a Shepherd, where there is no guide the enemy always wins.  I pray for you to desire to seek the shelter of the sheepfold so that you will have peace of mind and heart. Always praising the Lord God Almighty!

slow start

Beloved–

The Lord is my shepherd … I am the good shepherd, I am the door of the sheep … I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.  (from the Bible)

At age 26 I “found Jesus.”  I use the term “found” loosely.  My prideful heart and I “CAN FIX” any problem attitude kept me from the abundant life he promised in his word. What I have learned is to ignore the enemy’s clanging cymbals, bells and whistles and listen carefully for the whispering of the Holy Spirit.  Always praising the God who is … Father, Son and Holy Spirit!

In the beginning

Beloved–

But as for me, I shall sing of Your strength; Yes, I shall joyfully sing of Your lovingkindness in the morning, For You have been my stronghold And a refuge in the day of my distress.  (from Psalms)

I was exposed to the gospel message from the approximate age of 3 until at age 26 when I finally, frantically cried out to the Lord Jesus Christ. The enemy’s constant chanting at my pride caused me to reach the pit of despair. Then the Lord reached down and strengthened my faith; as I cried out he answered me.  I pray for you to desire to be aware of how much Jesus loves you.  Always praising the Lord God Almighty!

Celebrating

Even when I walk through the darkest valley,  I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me.  Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me …  Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever …  (from Psalms)

Praise the God who is … Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Praise God the Father who willingly gave his only beloved son to be the sacrificial lamb.

Praise God the Son who shed his blood on Calvary’s tree to pay my debt of sin.

Praise God the Holy Spirit who by his power defeated death raising Jesus Christ to life.

Allowing me to know that even when sorrow comes in the night as I say adieu to a beloved family member,

I know JOY WILL COME in the morning.

CELEBRATE!

Celebrate the life of my friend Katy.  I met Katy when I moved into her neighborhood; she wrapped her arms around my family, showing us where to find the best cuts of meat and the freshest bread.  She always had a smile and oh could she sing, even when we moved away from each other she would call and sing to me.  She was a believer; she knew that the blood shed on Calvary’s tree by her savior, Jesus Christ, was the ransom needed to pay her debt of sin, covering her in His righteousness.  She always sheltered in the Most High so that she could abide in the shadow of the Heavenly Father, God Almighty. Today, the shadow has lifted and she can see her savior face-to-face!  Weeping may come in the night but JOY comes in the morning!

Watch you mouth

Beloved–

A soothing tongue is a tree of life, But perversion in it crushes the spirit. (from Proverbs)

When I first read verse one of the 14th chapter of Proverbs I stopped reading and started praying, “oh God I never want to become a woman like that.”  With that thought in mind and continuing to read the book of Proverbs I soon realized that the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart were more dangerous to my relationships than my actions.  Now my daily prayer is, “oh heavenly Father, seal my lips and never let me say or think anything that is not from you.”  I pray for you to desire our triune God’s thoughts and words over your own.

Luv Ya!
