4 Bars . . . now that’s life

Beloved–

Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us . . . When God breathed the breath of life into the man’s nostrils, and the man became a living person,  a perfect temple for his presence.  That perfection was distorted when human beings doubted God.  (from the Bible)

I had to get a new cell phone, Ugh! I had just begun to enjoy the heaven of 4 bars; now, I’m outside the gate.  As a temple outside Eden it takes my every thought and prayer to keep my temple acceptable to receive the hem of his robe.  Only by my constant effort (blood, sweat and tears) to be in harmony am I able to communicate.  I pray for you to desire for your temple to be in complete harmony, always praising our triune God!

Luv Ya!

IWOT! 2.0

Beloved–

Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself . . .  For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple . . .  It was in the year King Uzziah died  that I saw the Lord. He was sitting on a lofty throne, and the train of his robe filled the Temple. ( from the Old & New Testament)

If I am the temple then I pray that every nook and cranny of my heart will be so filled with the hem [train] of his robe so that I am constantly aware of his presence. I pray for you to stay in the Word to seek his constant presence.  Praise the God who is . . . Father, Son and Holy Spirit!

Luv Ya!

IWOT!

“I came naked from my mother’s womb, and I will be naked when I leave.  The Lord gave me what I had, and the Lord has taken it away.  Praise the name of the Lord!” (from Job)

Oh Father, God I pray, please help me to always praise your name no matter what happens.  That I always want your plan for my life over the desires of my own heart. I praise and thank you that you loved me so much that you willingly sacrificed your only beloved son to cover me in his righteousness so that I may live with you in eternity.

Abide

Beloved–

The LORD is my shepherd!  Psalm 23

I will praise the Lord no matter what happens … Psalm 34

God will keep in perfect peace all those who focus on him … Isaiah 26

I will seek shelter in the Most-High [the LORD Jesus]

so that I can abide in the shadow of the Almighty …  Psalm 91

In the shadow of the LORD God Almighty is the most comforting as well as the safest place to abide when the enemy attacks.

The Temple and The Hem

Beloved–

It was in the year King Uzziah died that I saw the Lord. He was sitting on a lofty throne, and the train of his robe filled the Temple. (from Isaiah)

More about being a temple filled with his robe of righteousness. My greatest problem is being distracted by worldly attractions. “Hey, that’s not fair, you are taking your share out of the middle.” “share what I have? I barely have enough for one much less to share.  Focusing all my thoughts on him is the only way I can survive.  Praise the Lord Jesus for sending the Holy Spirit to call me out and protect me from myself. Praying for your focus too.

Luv Ya!

Filled

Beloved–

For we are the temple of the living God. As God said: “I will live in them and walk among them.  I will be their God, and they will be my people. (from Corinthians)

Temple – a building devoted to the worship, or regarded as the dwelling place, of a god or gods or other objects of religious reverence.

It was in the year King Uzziah died that I saw the Lord. He was sitting on a lofty throne, and the train of his robe filled the Temple. (from Isaiah)

Robe – a long loose outer garment; clothed in a robe, “the Chamberlain robed the king on coronation day”

As I read the Bible I’ve learned that I could be a temple filled with the Holy Spirit if I focused all my thoughts on his desire/will for me to be his child; my choice. I pray for you to choose his will for you over your own!  Praise the God who is … Father, Son and Holy Spirit!

Luv Ya!

Stages 3.0

Beloved–

Take control of what I say, O Lord, and guard my lips.  (from Psalms)

Stages 3.0  Going from GOT IT to WOW was not a slam dunk. I learned where the safest place is to stand but learning to control my tongue was a whole other learning curve.  I got to the point, after numerous failures, to beg for help to not say, do, think or feel anything that was not guided by the Holy Spirit.  I pray for you to know the joy of WOW that only knowing the Lord God Almighty can give.

Luv Ya!

Stages 2.0

Beloved–

And God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in him and he in us.  (from 1 John)

Stages 2.0 Unaware and Aware, was instantaneas; oh what joy!  The time from I know better than you and Yes sir, No sir took 16 years. It was me standing in front and the Lord as a backup plan. It took another 20 years for me to understand my position (Got it) was to stand behind the Lord. I pray for you to know where the safest place is to stand. Always praising the Lord God Almighty!

Stages

Beloved–

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.  (from John)

Response to the question, “have you always been a Christian?” I described my stages.

Unaware: on my own, struggling to avoid pits of despair, Jesus Saves, but not me.

Aware: cried out in prayer, received an immediate answer! Never alone again.

I know better than you: all my prayers were sent with instructions.

Yes sir, no sir: my prayer not answered my way but you are LORD and in charge.

Got it: my prayers should be your will not mine, thus I will get the desires of my heart.

Wow this really works: amazing grace!  Prayers answered

I pray for you to “get it” and always praising the Lord God Almighty!

Luv Ya!

He renews my strength

The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need.  He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams.  He renews my strength.  He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name.  Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me.  Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.  You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies.  You honor me by anointing my head with oil.  My cup overflows with blessings.  Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.
