PEACE

Beloved–

I pray for you to receive the sense of peace that I have received from this Psalm in the last few weeks.

The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need.  He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams.  He renews my strength.  He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his  name.  Even when I walk  through the darkest valley I will not be afraid,  for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff  protect and comfort me.  You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies.  You honor me by anointing my head with oil.  My cup overflows with blessings.  Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.

The Truth

Beloved–

But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants. (from the book of John)

. . . For God so loved the world . . . The truth is I am a sinner.  The truth is my sin nailed God’s Son to the cross.  The truth is I am covered by the righteous blood of my Savior, Jesus Christ, my maker, my master, the lover of my soul, the Lord God Almighty!  I pray for you to want that same Truth for your life … It is a gift!

By faith

Beloved–

And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God. (from First John)

I was so happy and excited to know that I was a child of God; I would never be alone again! I had a Savior!  Neither did I know that I was a sinner nor that the nails to crucify him were made of my sins. I was overwhelmed with shame and sorrow. What should I do?  Nothing?  It’s DONE!  The word makes it clear that his love is a free gift.  By faith, believing that Jesus is his beloved son, the Christ, that he is my maker, my master, my Savior, the lover of my soul. I pray for you to want Jesus Christ as your Savior.

I didn’t know

Beloved–

If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  (from Romans)

When I cried out to the Lord to save me I didn’t know that I was a sinner.  I didn’t know that it was my sin that nailed him to the cross. I didn’t understand that Jesus came to die —- to pay my sin debt!  I didn’t comprehend the relationship of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. I didn’t understand the significance of His resurrection —- that without it, I would never see my savior face-to-face!  I pray for you to have an overwhelming desire to want a savior and to know that he will love you forever!

By faith

Beloved–

Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing.  (from Psalms)

As a young “child of God” I wanted to know more and more about my heavenly Father. I learned that my heavenly Father does care about every detail of my life. I can have an intimate relationship with him because of my faith in Jesus Christ, His Son, through the Holy Spirit.  I pray for you to want to develop an intimate relationship with your Savior, the Lord God Almighty!

IWOT!

I will praise the Lord no matter what happens.  I will constatly speak of His glories and grace.  I will boast of all His kindness to me. Let all who are discouraged take heart, for I cried to him and he answered me.  He freed me from all my fears!  I praise and thank you Lord God, Almighty that you are my  Father God, my maker, my master, the lover of my soul, my salvation!  You covered me with Jesus’ righteous blood making me presentable in your presents.  Praise the Lord, he renews his mercies every morning!

Unbelievable

Beloved–

And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.  (from Romans)

When my heavenly Father saved me out of the chaos that I myself had created, I became a believer.  I desired to know this God who loved me so much that he sacrificed his only son on the cross for me.  I began to read his Word, I searched for like minded people.  Greater still, this merciful God wanted to fill me with his presence guiding my steps for all eternity.  So began my journey to answer the question — What does an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit look like?  I pray for you to desire to seek an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit.

It-s the only way

Beloved–

Teach me to do your will, for you are my God.  May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing.  (from Proverbs)

O Lord, I have so many enemies; so many are against me.  So many are saying, “God will never rescue him!”  But you, O Lord, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high.  I cried out to the Lord, and he answered me from his holy mountain.  I lay down and slept, yet I woke up in safety,  for the Lord was watching over me.  I am not afraid of ten thousand enemies who surround me on every side.  Arise, O Lord!  Rescue me, my God!  Slap all my enemies in the face!   Shatter the teeth of the wicked!  Victory comes from you, O Lord. May you bless your people.

Want it

Beloved–

Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit.   Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life. (from the book of John)

Today is one of those times when I’m not sure what to write. That is why “It’s Wednesday” is sometimes “IWOT.”  My prayer is that you understand what it means to have an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit.  I don’t always understand it but I know I have it.  I pray for you to have the desire to want an intimate relationship with the God who is . . . Father, Son and Holy Spirit!

Luv Ya!

Don’t talk, listen

Beloved–

 — Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing.

 — “So I tell you, every sin and blasphemy can be forgiven—except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, which will never be forgiven. Anyone who speaks against the Son of Man can be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, either in this world or in the world to come.

—-  So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him.”  (from The Bible)

By trial and error I have learned that God, who is . . . Father, Son and Holy Spirit, cares about every moment of my life.  I need to maintain an intimate relationship with him through the indwelling Holy Spirit.  I pray for you to trust your soul and your life to the Lord God Almighty!

Luv Ya!
