The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you.

I pray for you to understand what a gift that an intimate Salvation can mean to your life. A dedicated leader, a conscientious guide, eternal life that never ends, complete security by the person more powerful than anyone else against all attacks both mental or physical by the enemy, even if you die you live.

They bring trouble on me and angrily hunt me down. My heart pounds in my chest. The terror of death assaults me. Fear and trembling overwhelm me, and I can’t stop shaking. Oh, that I had wings like a dove; then I would fly away and rest! I would fly far away to the quiet of the wilderness. How quickly I would escape—far from this wild storm of hatred.

I pray for you to want to be saved, and receive a rich and satisfying life, all because the gatekeeper, the Lord God Almighty, is holding the gate open especially for you! He loves you so much.

Yes, I am the gate. Those who come in through me will be saved. They will come and go freely and will find good pastures. The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.
