Learning

Beloved–

These proverbs will give insight to the simple, knowledge and discernment to the young . . . to teach people wisdom and discipline, to help them understand the insights of the wise . . . to teach people to live disciplined and successful lives, to help them do what is right, just, and fair.  (from Proverbs)

I cried out to God to save me and He did!  My Christian journey began with a search for a group of believers. The Lord led me to an evangelical church where the Bible was preached verse-by-verse.  I learned how the Lord expected me to think and behave now that I belonged to Him.  Words like fear, knowledge, understanding, insight, wisdom; how the meaning of each of these ideas I am to apply to my daily living as a Christian.  I pray for you to have a complete understanding of your relationship with the Holy Spirit.

Set free

Beloved–

Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge,  but fools despise wisdom and discipline. (from Proverbs)

I was living from one crisis to another, each worse than the last, then I cried out to God to save me and He did!  Through a number of circumstances I came to understand that I am a sinner, and have been since birth, that only faith in the blood of Christ Jesus has the power to set me free. Thus began my Christian journey.  I pray that you too, have a desire to have a relationship with your maker.

IWOT!

Beloved–

Tune your ears to wisdom, and concentrate on understanding.  Cry out for insight, and ask for understanding . . . Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do. (from the Bible)

I pray that the eyes of my heart are continually fixed on my savior.  I’m praying for you too, to desire to be guided by my Lord Jesus Christ.

Never Alone

Beloved–

Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God’s presence . . .  Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. (from Ephesians)

“He Lives, He Lives, Christ Jesus Lives today. He walks with me and talks with me along life’s narrow way.  He Lives, He LIves salvation to impart, You ask me how I know He Lives, He Lives within my heart!”*    Hearing those words I understood the “How, What, and Why,”  and that I would never be alone again!  I pray for you too, to know how deep God’s love is for you.

Joy!

Beloved–

Peter’s words pierced their hearts, and they said to him and to the other apostles, “Brothers, what should we do?”  Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.    (from Acts)

Understanding the How, What, and Why and continuing to read the WORD I learned that I needed to publicly profess my faith in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior . . . and be baptized!  What a joyous day  I pray for you too, to know the joy of having Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

WHY ?

Beloved–

Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes …  This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure … He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins … And this is the plan: At the right time he will bring everything together under the authority of Christ—everything in heaven and on earth …   and he makes everything work out according to his plan  (from Ephesians)

I knew my crisis had been resolved — but I was not exactly sure how, what, or why.  By continuing to read the WORD of God I learned  WHY:  God loved me before he made the world.  Forgiving me, he covered me with the righteous blood of his Son, uniting me with Christ.  This is what he wanted to do and it gave him much pleasure.  I pray for you too, to want to fit into God’s plan for you.

WHAT

Beloved–

I knew my crisis had been resolved — but I was not exactly sure how, what, or why.  By continuing to read the WORD of God I learned  WHAT:  This was his eternal plan, which he carried out through Christ Jesus our Lord.  Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God’s presence. (Ephesians)    Now I  know that Christ’s obedient death on the cross   —- his blood to pay the penalty for sins — his resurrection from the dead —  raised up to be seated at the right hand of the Father, God Almighty — covering me in his righteousness to make me presentable in Father’s presences.  I pray for you too, to understand how much God the Father loves you.

HOW

Beloved–

I knew my crisis had been resolved — but I was not exactly sure how, what, or why.  By reading the WORD of God I learned  HOW:   All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed [me] us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because [I was] we are united with Christ. (from Ephesians)   I was acknowledging Jesus as my savior when I cried out to God to save me. I pray for you too, to be able to feel His presence in your life.

Really, it’s the Blood

Beloved–

But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much .   .  .   now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the Blood of Christ. (from Ephesains)

Believers from different cultures, languages and customs can all join together to worship the Lord God Almighty. Especially when the music is familiar.  The cleansing blood, the purifying flood, the precious blood of Jesus. My prayer prevails, the blood avales, The precious blood of Jesus.*

ALL OF IT ??

Beloved–

But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the BLOOD of CHRIST.  (from Ephesians)

How much innocent blood . . . ALL OF IT ?     Since the beginning of time, mankind has been attempting to redeem their sinful ways   . . .  but always falling short!   Only the INNOCENT BLOOD of the Son of God, the Lord Jesu Christ is able to save mankind!  Praise the Lord God Almighty, My Maker, My Master, the Lover of My Soul, My Savior, My Salvation!  My savior loves you too!
