Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith . . .  let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.  We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith.

So the physical therapist tells me not to worry, these new higher level exercises will get easier if I focus on the instructor, carefully observing her every move, she has designed them so they will become comfortable for me. Frequency is the key to understanding.  Prayer brings faith, faith brings joy, joy brings endurance and endurance brings faith!  Sounds easy, try it, it works.

Constantly

Beloved–

One day Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up. “There was a judge in a certain city,” he said, “who neither feared God nor cared about people. A widow of that city came to him repeatedly, saying, ‘Give me justice in this dispute with my enemy.’  The judge ignored her for a while, but finally he said to himself, ‘I don’t fear God or care about people, but this woman is driving me crazy. I’m going to see that she gets justice, because she is wearing me out with her constant requests!  (from Luke & Thessalonians)

Never stop praying!

Safe

Beloved–

Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.  Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere. Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.  (from Ephesians)

From the top of my head to the soles of my feet the Lord God has wrapped me securely in his WORD with the Holy Spirit guiding and reinforcing my shield of faith to withstand Satan’s fiery arrows.  I pray for you to desire to put on the whole armor of God.

why not?

Beloved–

Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. (from the book of 1 Peter)

The bible warns us that Satan and his army of evil spirits work day and night to cause believers to fall into sin.  The Lord provides his  Christian Army (that’s us believers) complete with uniform and instructions on how to conduct warfare based on the fact that the Lord Jesus Christ has overcome the world.   Halalulla!
