Boots

Beloved–

Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared.  (from Ephesians)

Good sturdy boots (that bring the peace of the Good News) that will withstand the cold indifference and ridicule of disbelief. Boots that are waterproof from the many tears shed from a broken heart for the lost. In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil.  Let us pray that we and our fellow believers pray in faith and discernment to recognize the opportunities to share the Good News.

Luv Ya!

Safe

Beloved–

Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.  Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness.  In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. (from Ephesians)

The body armor and a belt with its attachments would definitely be part of any authorized uniform for safety. God’s body armor and belt of truth is that we know that we are not alone when we share the Good News.  God is always with us!  Let us pray for the discernment of God’s righteousness.

Protection

Beloved–

Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. (from Ephesians)

A helmet is shaped like an upside down bowl and is usually required by the government for safety in many everyday activities, even skateboarding.  The helmet of salvation is shaped a little differently —It covers your mind and heart protecting you from the enemy.  It works in coordination with the Holy Spirit that lives in you to teach you the word of GOD.  I pray for you and me to desire to pray for the strength to be faithful.

Be Vigilante

Beloved–

Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. (from the book of 1 Peter)

The bible warns us that Satan and his army of evil spirits work day and night to cause believers to fall into sin.  The Lord provides his  Christian Army (that’s us believers) complete with uniform and instructions on how to conduct warfare based on the fact that the Lord Jesus Christ has overcome the world.   Halalulla!

Paid in Full

Beloved—

For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.   (from the book of John)

If not, why not? Your body is mortal but your soul is immortal. Salvation is a gift.  You can’t earn it.  The purchase of your soul has already been paid for through the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross.  You simply have to believe it.

Luv Ya!
