You too

Beloved–

When people’s lives please the Lord, even their enemies are at peace with them.  (from Proverbs)

I learned when a person depends on the power of God the Father there is no anxiety in the midst of chaos.  You too, can  choose to let Jesus control your life.

Faith, is all it takes

Beloved–

For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith.  (from the book of 1 John)

In desperation I cried out to God to save me. I didn’t know that I was exercising faith in the power of God the Father through the work of His Son, Lord Jesus Christ.  I soon began to learn.  You too, can exercise your faith.

Luv Ya!

Control

Beloved—

Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping him with holy fear and awe.  (from Hebrews)

I was Awestruck …  when I realized that the Son of Almighty God, my Savior, was obedient even though He was totally aware of the horrendous sacrifice He would have to endure to ransom my soul.  I pray that you, too, understand the price needed to save your soul.

Luv Ya!

Even So

Beloved–

“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life —-  let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us . . .(from The Word)

God the Father made the ultimate sacrifice — giving His only Son as a ransom for my soul — knowing the suffering His Son would have to endure.  Not only did the Son fully understand the Father’s plan, he was willingly obedient. Now, my naked soul is covered with the righteousness of my Savior, Christ Jesus!  I pray for you to want to be covered with His righteousness.

Luv Ya!

Happy New Year

                          MAY GOD BLESS YOU

                                      The History of “It’s Wednesday”

The power of praise and prayer has been a passion of mine since I was a very young Christian.  As a church secretary, I took on the prayer ministry, especially for students and teachers at the preschool located on the church campus.

The prayer ministry came to include actual hands-on prayer, Wednesday was the designated day.  One particular teacher would often say to me “It’s Wednesday, isn’t it?”  When she resigned to return to school, she said she would miss our weekly prayer time.  I told her, “don’t worry I’ll email you your prayer.”

In her first emailed prayer I wrote on the subject line “It’s Wednesday” and the title just stuck.  I would like to introduce you to that weekly email known as It’s Wednesday, that began in 2003.

I’m praying daily for YOU and that you will fall in love with Jesus more and more everyday; He has taken out your heart of stone and given you a heart of flesh and blood … His blood!

Luv Ya!
