IWOT!

Beloved–

He breathed the breath of life … the man became a living person  … The Man and Woman Sin … So the Lord was sorry he had ever made them … It broke his heart. (from Genesis)

I am overwhelmed by the pain in these passages of scripture.  I pray that your heart is broken for what breaks the Lord’s heart.  I pray for you to recognize the glorious grace that the Lord has bestowed on us.  Praise the God who is … Father, Son and Holy Spirit!

Luv Ya!

You look like your grandfather …

Beloved–

Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son. (from Ephesiains)

As a young child of 5 or 6, having heard of the concept of adoption, I could see my sister’s resemblance to my parents but not my own features.  So, naturally, I assumed I was adopted. I finally asked my mother why I looked different than my sister.  She explained that I looked like her side of the family and my sister looked like my father’s side of the family, and that we were all different but we all belonged to each other.  I pray for you to know that God loved you before he made the world and chose to adopt you and me into his family.  We are all different but we all belong to each other.

Luv Ya!

Don’t forget to remember.

Beloved–

… When I see the blood, I will pass over you. This plague of death will not touch you …  “This is a day to remember.  (Old Testament)

… “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” (New Testament)

Easter is over and tomorrow is the final day of the Passover celebration. In his word, God constantly reminds me that he has been in control since the beginning of time. He reminds me that peace of mind and heart comes from not, how much I can “fix” but how much I “trust” in him.  I pray for you to focus on him and not on the chaos nor the joy that surrounds you. Praise the Lord God Almighty!

Luv Ya!

Christ Lives . . . Death could not hold him!

Beloved–

… When I see the blood, I will pass over you. This plague of death will not touch you …  “This is a day to remember. Each year, from generation to generation, you must celebrate it as a special festival to the Lord. This is a law for all time. (from the Old Testament)

… “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” After supper he took another cup of wine and said, “This cup is the new covenant between God and his people—an agreement confirmed with my blood, which is poured out as a sacrifice for you.  (from the New Testament)

Preparing for the glorious celebration of the TRUTH of what I KNOW to be true in my own heart, I am overwhelmed by the GRACE he has bestowed on me.  As the song says, Jesus’ love is blood red so that my sins are washed white as snow, I cannot stop wondering, why me. I pray for you to choose to KNOW the truth, now, and not wait. Praise the Lord God Almighty.     H E    L I V E S !!!      H A P P Y     E A S T E R !

Luv Ya!

Have mercy on me, O God, because of your unfailing love. Because of your great compassion, blot out the stain of my sins.  Wash me clean from my guilt. Purify me from my sin. For I recognize my rebellion; it haunts me day and night. Against you, and you alone, have I sinned; I have done what is evil in your sight. You will be proved right in what you say, and your judgment against me is just. For I was born a sinner—yes, from the moment my mother conceived me.  But you desire honesty from the womb, teaching me wisdom even there.  Purify me from my sins, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. Oh, give me back my joy again; you have broken me—now let me rejoice. Don’t keep looking at my sins.  Remove the stain of my guilt. Create in me a clean heart, O God.  Renew a loyal spirit within me. Do not banish me from your presence, and don’t take your Holy Spirit from me.  Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you. (from Psalms)

I am overwhelmed by God’s grace!
