White as Snow .2

Beloved–

“O Israel, can I not do to you as this potter has done to his clay? As the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in my hand.  (from Hebrews)

There I was a square lump of clay, full of cracks, scratches, and divots. Muddy to the point of death or so dry that I was beyond usefulness; but always trying to fit into the round hole. Then my heavenly father chose to place me on his potter’s wheel, washed  me in my savior’s blood so I was made white as snow.  I pray for you to understand how blessed you are to be chosen for the potter’s wheel by our triune God.

Luv Ya!

White as Snow

Beloved–

Have mercy on me, O God, because of your unfailing love.  Because of your great compassion, blot out the stain of my sins.  Wash me clean from my guilt. Purify me from my sin. For I recognize my rebellion; it haunts me day and night.  Against you, and you alone, have I sinned; I have done what is evil in your sight. You will be proved right in what you say, and your judgment against me is just. For I was born a sinner— yes, from the moment my mother conceived me.  But you desire honesty from the womb, teaching me wisdom even there. Purify me from my sins, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. Oh, give me back my joy again; you have broken me— now let me rejoice. Don’t keep looking at my sins.  Remove the stain of my guilt. Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me. Do not banish me from your presence, and don’t take your Holy Spirit from me.  (from Psalms)

My prayer as well.

Luv Ya!

Affliction

Beloved–

But this is the new covenant I will make with the people of Israel on that day, says the Lord: I will put my laws in their minds, and I will write them on their hearts.  I will be their God, and they will be my people. (from Hebrews)

Afflictions that have been vanquished.  The root of my sin is arguing with God, that the afflictions that I am suffering are not fair.  The mercy of God is allowing me to see that my sin of pride was blinding me. My real sin is thinking that I know better than God!  What a merciful God we have!

Luv Ya!
