Beloved–

. . . For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved . . . because of God’s grace—his undeserved kindness in choosing them. And since it is through God’s kindness, then it is not by their good works.  For in that case, God’s grace would not be what it really is—free and undeserved . . . For God’s gifts and his call can never be withdrawn. (from Romans)

He chose me—I didn’t “find him!”  I pray for you to accept the truth that the triune God’s free and undeserved grace and kindness is for you; to know it will never be taken away.

Luv Ya!

Beloved–

We can make our own plans, but the Lord gives the right answer . . . We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps . . . We may throw the dice, but the Lord determines how they fall . . . Those who listen to instruction will prosper;  those who trust the Lord will be joyful. (from Proverbs)

I pray for you and me to fine tune our hearts and minds to the Lord’s instruction, so that we will automatically choose the path of joy.  Always praising the God who is . . . Father, Son and Holy Spirit!

Luv Ya!

Don’t know what you don’t know?

Beloved–

Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge . . . Then you will understand what it means to fear the Lord, and you will gain knowledge of God . . . Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do! . . . Get wisdom; develop good judgment . . . Fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom . .  . Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment . . . Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding . . . (from Proverbs)

It took me a long time to understand that I didn’t KNOW what I didn’t KNOW about the Holy One.  I pray for you to begin your search for what it is you don’t KNOW; always praising the God who is . . . Father, Son and Holy Spirit!

Luv Ya!

Beloved–

O Lord, don’t rebuke me in your anger  or discipline me in your rage!  My guilt overwhelms me— it is a burden too heavy to bear  . . . I am exhausted and completely crushed.  My groans come from an anguished heart . . . But I confess my sins;  I am deeply sorry for what I have done . . .  I confessed all my sins to you  and stopped trying to hide my guilt . . .

Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight!  Yes, what joy for those whose record the Lord has cleared of guilt . . . Therefore, let all the godly pray to you while there is still time, that they may not drown in the floodwaters of judgment.  (from Psalms)

I pray for you to seek the joy of confession, while there is still time, to the God who is . . . Father, Son and Holy Spirit!

Luv Ya!
