Can’t be done — unless

Beloved–

Pride leads to conflict; those who take advice are wise.

Those who control their tongue will have a long life; opening your mouth can ruin everything

Wise people think before they act; fools don’t—and even brag about their foolishness.   (from Proverbs)

—  “and I told him just what he could do with his suggestions, too!”  —

Get rid of pride, listen to advice, keep my mouth shut, think before I say a word, and don’t act like a fool.  Can’t be done — unless I am continually hearing the Holy Spirit speaking to me through God’s Word that I have stored in my heart.

I pray for you daily; that you choose your relationship with the God who is … Father, Son and Holy Spirit as your highest priority in this life.

Luv Ya!

Peace?

Beloved—

Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice! … Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything … Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.   (from Philippians)

When chaos reigns in my life the Lord says, “be full of joy, even rejoice!”  Because peace comes from inside (my heart) not from my outside circumstances.

I pray for you daily.  Think of one of your happiest moments and realize that life with the God who is …. Father, Son and Spirit will be more than ten thousand times more joyful!

Luv Ya!

Joy 3.0

Beloved–

Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do!  And whatever else you do, develop good judgment … when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.   (from Proverbs and James)

I need to think before I comment, so that I can be sure that what I say is edifying and that I’m being lead by the spirit and not by my own wisdom.

I pray for you daily for you to have joy because the God who is … Father, Son and the Holy Spirit loves you.

Luv Ya!
